GAYS FOR STRAYSTM

 

SIDETRACK, CHICAGO’S PREMIER VIDEO BAR LOCATED IN THE HEART OF CHICAGO’S GAY DISTRICT, HOSTS A FUN AND UNIQUE HAPPY HOUR EVENT TO HELP HOMELESS ANIMALS.

 

Have a drink and help a homeless animal at Sidetrack on Saturday, November 13th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Open Bar from 4-5 pm sponsored by Effen Vodka!  Silent Auction, raffles, great prizes and light bites from 5-8 pm! Special video programs and music all night long!

 

On November 13th, Sidetrack, “one of Boys Town’s main attractions” (3349 N. Halsted St.), will host this fun-filled 3rd annual happy hour event to help homeless animals.  The bar has chosen Red Door Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter for cats, dogs and rabbits to receive the proceeds from this unique event.

 

Red Door’s happy hour benefit will take place in Sidetrack’s beautiful atrium barroom.  Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.  For more information or to purchase tickets, call 773-764-2242 or log on to www.gays4strays.org.  All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the care of Red Door’s adoptable cats, dogs and rabbits. 

 

In 2003, Red Door’s Gays for Strays event received the honor of the top position on the Chicago Free Press “Top Places to Be, Things to See” list.  This year’s event promises to be bigger and better!
